those three words.

No, I'm not talking about not the usual 3 words ("I love you" for those playing at home)! My lovely chicka, Kristen, is asking us to describe, in three words or less, who we believe God says we are, individually, specific, honest.

My chosen three words are 'Imperfect but Redeemed' (well, two if you want to be really technical!). Why, you may ask, did I choose those specific words and what do they mean to me? Ah, I'm glad you asked, because I will tell you!

Imperfect (adj.)
1. having faults or errors
2. not complete

Well, this is me! As much as I try, I don't believe that I will ever be perfect. That's not to say that I won't strive for it, as I have been told to (Matthew 5:43-48), but I have no illusions as to the results!

But (conj.)
2. Contrary to expectation; yet:

Ooh, is there hope for me?

Redeemed (tr.v)
6. To set free; rescue or ransom.
7. To save from a state of sinfulness and its consequences.

Yes, indeed I have hope because I have been redeemed, saved, set free, any other synonym you can think of!

So, my three words! Please visit my chicka and tell her who you believe YOU are to Christ!

I love your thoughts behind your three words. My three words were:
HIS forgiven child

Thanks for sharing. Have a great week!
